Out With the Old and in With the New!

Who doesn’t love before and afters!!  I know I always get excited by the transformations.  I love when they include them in magazines so I thought it might be fun to showcase some of ours here.

This dramatic transformation included removing a wall between the existing kitchen and dining room to expand the footprint of the kitchen.  It allowed the designer to create two islands – one for prep and one for seating.  The kitchen has now become the center of the home giving the family a place to gather and enjoy one another’s company!  Be sure to check out our kitchen gallery for more great images!

Island Before

This kitchen renovation was a joint project between The Cabinetry and Teresa Burnett, a local interior designer.  The result of this design collaboration – glazed white cabinetry, black painted island and traditional details that have transformed this once drab and generic space into a bright, beautiful space where the client can entertain with ease.

Here is another project where Teresa Burnett and The Cabinetry came together to renovate a master suite for a couple in Boston.  This was an interesting remodel because the couple likes to entertain on their balcony that has stellar views of the city,  however the only way to the balcony is through their bedroom.  A clever lift-up door system complete with refreshments replaced the old bedroom closet making entertaining a snap!
