High Drama!

I was just checking in on a recent kitchen renovation we are working on in Duxbury, MA and it was great to see the transformation!! We recently completed a bathroom renovation for the couple and so I was able to get a few photos of the kitchen mid-way through the construction.

The bathroom came out fantastic!! I love the bold blue paint we chose, Lucerne one of the new Affinity Colors by Benjamin Moore, it contrasts beautifully with the crisp white cabinetry. The honed Carrera marble tile is stunning. The herringbone rug mosaic on the floor adds interest and movement. The small square, glass accent tile wraps the room in a continuous band to unify the space with a secondary, larger band above in the shower area for visual impact. A simple white subway tile and the Kensho, Silestone quartz countertop allows the marble and glass tile to take center stage. Here are a few pics to get a sneak peak until we can have our photographer take some glossy photos for the gallery!

Burr Remodeling did such a great job on this bathroom renovation!  It is always a pleasure working with Bob and his team!  They are always professional, pay close attention to detail and quick to problem solve.Dave and Matt were working on the kitchen bump-out when I arrived. It was great seeing the kitchen’s new vaulted ceiling! It really transformed the space, adding drama and allowing for additional natural light to be added to the once dark, cramped kitchen.

I went back to the site a few weeks later once the cabinets had been installed. It was so exciting to see the progress! Dave was in the process of finishing up the tile backsplash and the whole space was coming together nicely. It is such a dramatic transformation. I can’t believe how spacious and bright the kitchen is now!The custom wood hood with mantle and crown molding detail looks amazing above the glass accent tile and crackle 2 x 8 subway tiles…The hutch, sink and cooktop all have matching corbel valances a simple detail that adds elegance to the kitchen! I am looking forward to seeing the final design! I can’t wait to add this kitchen and bath to our online gallery!
