Seaside Bar

We are finishing up another project in Hull, MA.  It is a bar installation.  The clients love to entertain in their seaside home and wanted to add a bar to their living room.  The open floor plan allows for a great space to enjoy company and the beautiful surrounding landscape.  The  client chose one of my favorite colors, Vineyard paint done in a matte sheen.  The color is a perfect alternative to white.  This neutral color works great in the space and compliments the ocean outside visible from the adjoining windows.  The clients chose a granite top called White Zito or Super White.  It has the look of marble, having a white field with gray striations throughout, however is much more forgiving than a Carrera would be. When I arrived to finalize some last minute details the client was in the process of selecting some beautiful woven chairs to go with their new bar.  They are so excited about their new cabinetry complete with wine cubes, glass holders and a beverage fridge!  They also love the hidden storage in the back of the peninsula that blends seamlessly with the wainscot detail.
