Yesterday I met the installers from Skyline Marble & Granite out of Middleborough at a job site so they could install the client’s kitchen and bath granite. I was able to check-in on the cabinet install as well which is coming along great!

The client’s chose to do the kitchen cabinetry in a glazed Cherry with beadboard accents. For the adjoining entry area the client wanted to have a workspace but also needed to have a catch-all for coats, shoes and such. We created a beautiful desk in a white painted finish that sits under the two large front windows. We also created a mudroom style cabinet adjacent to the desk, also in a white painted finish, complete with lockers to hide coats and bags with a bench seat supported by open cubbies for shoes. Both the desk and mudroom cabinet have the matching glazed Cherry wood tops to match the kitchen visible from the entry creating a warm and inviting entry to the home!

Many clients choose a natural stone for their counters. Granite is popular because of it’s relative ease to maintain and because it has such a vast range of colors and patterns. We encourage clients to visit the stone yard to hand select the slab of granite that will be used for their counters since each slab is unique and can vary greatly from slab to slab depending on the lot the granite is from. Skyline has a great selection of marble and granite to choose from and we love working with them. They are quick, efficient and do a beautiful job templating and installing stone.
