Sin City!

So big things are happening here at The Cabinetry!! I can’t believe so much time has passed since I last wrote a blog entry! I thought it would be fun to share some more on LV even though it’s been ages since we have been back!!

In between taking in all the ooh’s and ahh’s of the KBIS show I was able to do some exploring in Sin City…after all it was my first time there and it was necessary to do all the touristy things one does when they are there.

I decided to grab my camera and walk the strip. Figured I’d see how far I could get!! I started at Mandalay Bay so I could visit the aquarium then kept walking!

I loved the Nostalgic feel of the Tropicana – the architecture transports you back in time to old world Vegas!! And the lights at the Flamingo… fantastic!!

I continued to walk the strip, ducking in and out of various hotels so I could take in as much of the over-the-top ambiance. The famous fountain show at The Bellagio is a must! It’s a dramatic display of water set to music. I caught a glimpse on my walk and decided I needed to make a point to go back later in the evening to catch a full show!

Another fun thing to check out is Fremont Street. They have relocated many of the old neon signs there and it is quite the experience. Live music and of course plenty of gambling!! It’s not quite as sophisticated as the main strip but well worth a visit if you have never been to Vegas before. I had so much fun photographing all the neon lights!! There is plenty to see and do in Vegas! Lot’s of fun and definitely a fun trip!
