The Not So “General” Store…

Over the weekend when I was attending the Fort Point Open Studios in Boston I stumbled upon the Templeton General in Studio B. It is a little gem of a store offering beautiful curiosities and wares for the home. Continuing the “General Store” tradition of her parents, Laura Sabolefski opened the store in January of 2014.

“The modern Templeton General offers a twist on your everyday necessities. A gift and curiosities shop, Templeton offers the finest in housewares, textiles, bath products and artful goods, with an emphasis on savvy design and quality.”

I absolutely loved the colors, textures and liveliness of the store!  You can see that a lot of thought has gone into the selection and placement of each item.  I can’t wait to stop in next time I am in the Fort Point district – it’s the perfect place to pick-up a special item for  yourself or someone special who appreciates fine design.  Be sure to check out Laura and her beautiful store…I’m sure you will be hooked as I was!
